Bernard Dumaine

French surrealist Bernard Dumaine has been producing digital art since around the late 1990s. His extraordinary works are distinctly different from mine. He uses a tablet to distort images.  His origins lie in drawing and painting.

The link goes to Dumaine’s “e-mages” site, which is now quite limited.

Zdzisław Beksinski

Not limited to painting and drawing, Beksinski, the Polish surrealist,  took to computers to create digital surreal images in the mid 1990s. Like his paintings and drawings, he did not title his works.

He was murdered in 2005.

Kano (Jac Grenfell)

New Zealander Jac Grenfell was an early pioneer of Bryce 3D whose works were featured by Metacreations to promote the Software. He used the terrain editor in ways not previously considered, creating forms not otherwise possible.

He is multi-talented in a plethora of 3D cgi programs. He is notorious for disappearing from this world - at least as far as  his online presence is concerned …

George Grie

Grie used to refer to his work as “neosurrealism”. He employs 3D programs to render his fantastic images.

Erik Johansson

Swede Erik Johansson refers to his images as “surreal photography”. His improbable images are sometimes reminiscent  of Magritte and  MC Escher.

Tomasz Strzalkowski

CG images . His latest output appears to be for gaming(?)

David Ho

Digital “illustrator” from the 1990s. His own website no longer exists

Oliver Ler Marinkoski

Guns are made of flesh; scissors grow teeth. Very disturbing.
